Holly Stephens is an associate attorney working in the McArthur Law Firm’s Atlanta, Georgia office. Holly specializes in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death due to medical negligence, motor vehicle accidents and trucking accidents, and negligent security.
Originally from Macon, Georgia, Holly earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016. She then worked in the Texas State Senate for two years before attending the University of Georgia School of Law, where she obtained her law degree in 2021. During law school, Holly built a strong foundation in advocacy through her internships with the Jane. W. Wilson Family Justice Clinic and the Criminal Defense Practicum. Additionally, she interned for judges on the Western Judicial Circuit Superior Court, Court of Appeals of Georgia, and Middle District of Georgia.
Following her graduation from law school, Holly continued to hone her courtroom skills as an Assistant Public Defender in Brunswick, Georgia, where she represented hundreds of clients who were facing criminal charges but could not afford to hire an attorney, providing them with vigorous courtroom advocacy and compassionate support throughout their cases. Holly’s commitment to justice and her clients’ well-being is evident in her tireless work ethic and dedication to helping individuals navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives.
Holly is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Atlanta Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
She lives in Atlanta and enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, walking her dog, exploring the city, and cheering on the Tar Heels and Bulldogs!
