ELAINE REGISTER

Elaine Register was born and raised in Thomson, Georgia, and attended both Georgia Southern and Augusta State universities. After relocating to Macon in 1987, she began working with Kathy McArthur in 1988 as a paralegal specializing in the practice of worker’s compensation law. She monitors and actively works more than 100 cases.

Elaine is dedicated to her job and feels a great sense of satisfaction in assisting clients through the difficult worker’s compensation process. As a result of her 30 years of experience, Elaine provides invaluable legal support in the workers’ compensation department and is highly regarded and respected by the firm’s clients.

Elaine is married and has three children and three grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling and watching college football.

MARGIE CUNNINGHAM

Margie was a self-employed medical transcriptionist for 10 years prior to joining the Firm in November 2010. She has since obtained an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies to help further her knowledge of the legal field.

She is a paralegal in the medical malpractice department, performing all administrative duties and drawing on her extensive medical knowledge and previous experience.

When not at work Margie enjoys spending time with her two grandsons.

MARNA BERRYHILL

Marna was born in Hialeah, Florida and spent most of her childhood in Ocala, Florida and Northern California before moving to Macon, Georgia after high school. Marna worked in the banking and dental industries for a total of 15 years before joining the McArthur Law Firm in 2007. Marna celebrated her 10-year anniversary with our firm in August of 2017.

Known as the “face of the firm,” Marna is the first point of contact for all clients, attorneys, and other visitors. Her job includes greeting visitors upon their arrival at the office, operating the high-volume phone system, and a variety of other tasks when assigned. Marna is known for her personable, pleasant, and professional demeanor.

Marna enjoys spending time with her two children, five grandchildren and the rest of her family and friends. She particularly loves being outdoors and visiting historical sites.

PAMELA GODFREY

Pam holds an associate’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in information technology. She began her legal career with Kathy McArthur in the early 1990s as a legal secretary. She quickly discovered her love for the challenging legal process and transitioned into a personal injury paralegal. After several years in Macon, Pam moved with her husband to the Atlanta area and worked at other firms in various areas, including insurance defense, family law and municipal/governmental law.

In 2009, Pam and her family returned to Macon and she proudly resumed working for Ms. McArthur. Since that time, Pam has honed her skillset and now dedicates her time to working solely on medical malpractice cases. She considers it an honor to work with clients through what often times are some of the most difficult times of their lives. With over 20 years of experience in the legal field, clients appreciate Pam’s genuine compassion, care and attention to the details of their cases.

Pam and her husband have a daughter and enjoy traveling and exploring new places together.

SHEILA POWELL

Sheila was born in Macon, Georgia, and raised in Warner Robins. She graduated with honors (top 5%) from Northside High School in Warner Robins in June 1973. She was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) while in high school. After graduation, she attended Crandall Business College in Macon and Phoenix College in Phoenix, Arizona. She has been a legal secretary for more than 36 years and has worked with Kathy McArthur since 1989.

Sheila serves as a litigation paralegal at the McArthur Law Firm and her job duties include opening and cataloging all mail and scanning pertinent documents, creating and distributing all tickers (legal deadlines and reminders), appointment/deposition scheduling, litigation document drafting, communicating with trial courts, processing mail, and transcribing recorded statements and dictation.

TIM GODFREY

Tim joined the firm in February 2011 as a courier and accounts payable assistant. He also performs wreck investigations, takes witness statements, and manages the Firm’s supply inventory.

Prior to that time, he had worked 12 years in inventory management in the metro Atlanta area.

Tim was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and raised in the Bahamas. He is married to Pam Godfrey and they have one daughter.

AMBER KOLMETZ

Amber attended Georgia Military College and Macon State University focusing her studies in Business Management. She has worked in the legal arena for 8 years at both plaintiff and defense firms in a variety of fields: real estate, tax & wealth planning, probate, corporate, personal injury, unemployment and medical malpractice. Amber’s defense background gives her a better understanding of and a unique perspective into the litigation process.

Amber has been with the McArthur Law firm since February of 2015 and is currently a personal injury paralegal to Attorney Jessica A. Edmonds. She is also currently taking online courses through the Blackstone Career Institute that will allow her to sit for the Accredited Legal Professional (ALP) exam as well as, the Certified Legal Assistant/Certified Paralegal (CLA/CP) exam. Upon completion of her course work and sitting for exams, Amber will be certificated and certified paralegal.

Amber is married and has one step-son. She and her family enjoy outings on their boat, fishing and hunting. In Amber’s quite time, she loves to read.

CAROL PRATT

Carol is the nurse paralegal at the McArthur Law Firm for the Medical Malpractice team, performing extensive medical record review. Carol has 40 years nursing experience in the hospital setting and is very experienced in chart review and standards of care. She creates event timelines after chart reviews and presents findings to the team. Her nursing knowledge and experience enables her to provide professional opinions regarding medical malpractice.

Carol was born and raised in the Middle Georgia area. She attended Georgia Southwestern State College where she received her Associates of Science in Nursing in 1979. Carol then attended Argosy University in Atlanta, where she graduated cum laude in 2018 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is also a member of the American Nursing Association. Carol and her husband, Angel, live in Kathleen with their dog, Zoey. In her free time, Carol enjoys spending time with family, cooking, gardening, and watching football with her husband.

LISA COSEY

Lisa was born and raised in Macon, GA. She has worked as a legal assistant for almost 20 years in various law firms. The majority of cases she handles has been personal injury cases. Lisa started with McArthur Law Firm in May 2020; she is the legal assistant 3 of our attorney in the Macon office.

Lisa has 2 wonderful adult children and a fur-baby named Luke. Her hobbies are binge watching “The Office” and any TLC reality show. She also loves listening to 70’s music and hanging out with her children.

PAMELA BRANTLEY

Pamela Brantley was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. Pamela retired from Robins AFB GA where she worked 32 years. She then went back to work at Houston Medical Center as a switchboard operator for 4 years prior to joining the firm in November 2019.

Pamela is a legal assistant in the medical malpractice department.

Pamela has been married to her husband Mike for 38 years and has 2 children and five grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family, fishing with her husband, and watching college football.

LYN REEB-WILLIAMS

Lyn was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but before moving to Macon as a child, her home was Brooklyn, New York. She was homeschooled for nine years before starting college at Middle Georgia State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Since 2016, Lyn has been a legal assistant who works with all of our departments but mostly assists with our personal injury cases.

Lyn enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, traveling, and listening to music.

KIONDRA HOGUES

Kiondra Hogues was born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia. She attended Georgia Military College where she received her associate degree. She then attended Clayton State University where she received her bachelor’s degree.

Kiondra is a legal assistant under Personal Injury attorney’s Jordan Josey and Caleb Walker. She started with the firm in June 2021.

Kiondra enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and bowling.

IYISHA TAYLOR

Iyisha was born in Oakland, California and raised in Decatur, Georgia. After attending Tuskegee University with a major in English, she decided to begin her career in the legal field working as a legal assistant and paralegal for notable law firms in the metro Atlanta area with a focus in medical malpractice and personal injury. She earned her Paralegal Certification from the University of Georgia in February 2021.

Iyisha joined the McArthur Law Firm in October 2021 working as the paralegal for Lindsey Macon and Michael Thompson in the Atlanta office.

In her free time, Iyisha enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and going to concerts and sporting events.

PATTY CHILDS

Patty was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. She has over 24 years of working as a paralegal and managing personal injury cases and has gained immeasurable experience working with some of the best trial lawyers, both inside and outside of the courtroom. She has prior experience and training of working in property and casualty insurance field which has proven to be quite valuable while working with insurance companies and adjusters in the personal injury field. She enjoys the work that she does and helping clients in their time of need.

Patty is the proud Mom to her two sons; Trey (28) and Tanner (18) and a fur-baby named Gracie. She has spent the past 20 years traveling and watching her two sons play sports. She enjoys camping, kayaking, and is always up for reading a good book while at the beach.

VICTORIA WALDRUP

Victoria Waldrup was born in Cabot, Arkansas. Due to her dad being in the Air Force, she has also lived in California and, now, Georgia. She attended Georgia Military College for her Associate’s in Criminal Justice and transferred to Mercer University for her Bachelor’s. She graduated in May of 2022.
Victoria began working at the McArthur Law Firm in April 2022; she is a personal injury legal assistant in the Macon office.
